Situated on 21 acres, this center will house a school for 4th-8th grade students, a library and computer center, a children’s home for the physically and mentally disabled, a guesthouse for visitors, and multiple acres of farmland to provide provide for students and the local community.
Though currently still under construction, we aim to have the Elpida School open for students in the 2022-2023 school year.
Your support can make this a reality!
Baby rescue center
Each day, newborn babies in Kibera are discarded in garbage heaps and toilets by young mothers. The Baby Rescue Center at Nurturing Hope's Elpida Center will provide a safe haven for children who would otherwise be abandoned to die.
